There are two versions of me. The girl I think I am, and the girl I actually am.
The girl I actually am is not bad. But the girl I think I am is amazing.
It’s hard to explain, but there’s a version of me that I feel is the “true” me. She’s stylish, she’s doing what she loves, she’s healthy, she is a good person/wife/mom/daughter/sister/friend. In reality, I’m not all those things 100% of the time right now. Some of those things I’m averaging 50% of the time. Some of those things I’m not achieving at all. But in my mind, that’s who I am at my core–healthy, happy and looking good inside and out.
So every year, every month, every week, every day, I try to take small steps to get there. To be the girl of my dreams. I set yearly, monthly, weekly and daily goals. I put them in my planner. I review them regularly. And little by little I inch closer to my true self.

I plan to kick this series off next week, which will take us through the first week of December. That will give us plenty of time to get straight for the new year, with a few weeks to spare to just relax and enjoy the holidays. I hope you will join me!
